GI/Endoscopy Tech – Travel Contract
Location: Seattle, WA

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy Technician to join a busy endoscopy department in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have previous GI procedural experience and be comfortable assisting with endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during GI and endoscopy procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy equipment according to facility protocols
- Assist with patient preparation and transportation as needed
- Monitor inventory and restock procedural supplies
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Support efficient workflow within the endoscopy department
- Maintain accurate documentation and equipment records
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association (AHA)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous GI Technician experience required
- Knowledge of GI/endoscopy equipment and reprocessing procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Team-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- GI/Endoscopy Technician training or related healthcare experience preferred
