Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations
- Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards
- Use property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to update records, process rent payments, and generate reports
- Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Contribute to budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting related to property operations
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 guidelines
- Collaborate with team members on conflict management, lease negotiations, and upselling opportunities to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors and tracking work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Cleaning units after made ready some days
- Housing is available as an incentive
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with property management companies is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and customer relationship management systems
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing, contracts, and landlord-tenant law
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and filing tasks
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and facilities management best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and correspondence
- Demonstrated team management skills along with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle sensitive client communications
