Pressure Vessel Design Engineer
Arrow Tank & Engineering Pay Range: $70,000 – $120,000 per year
Join Arrow Tank & Engineering as a Pressure Vessel Design Engineer, where you’ll design, analyze, and support the fabrication of high‑quality pressure vessels. You’ll ensure compliance with industry codes and customer specifications while working closely with manufacturing teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Pressure Vessels to ASME Section VIII and customer requirements
- Perform Engineering Calculations and code compliance reviews
- Support Fabrication with technical guidance to shop teams
- Prepare and review Drawings & Documentation for manufacturing and quality
- Collaborate Cross‑Functionally with manufacturing, quality, and project management
- Develop Material Specifications and select appropriate materials for vessel design and fabrication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of design experience in metal fabrication, preferably pressure vessels or related industries
- Experience with ASME pressure vessel design
- Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
- Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes
