Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms with care and efficiency
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate sanitation techniques
- Manage janitorial responsibilities like restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Assist with outdoor work tasks such as trash collection, outdoor surface cleaning,
- Support housekeeping management by following schedules and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial environments preferred
- Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and outdoor cleaning tasks
- Background in hotel housekeeping or hospitality service is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
