Job Overview
Hello there!!
We are a small neighborhood Pub focused on Craft Cocktails, delicious homemade food and creating amazing moments for our patrons through exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment. We are looking to expand our hours and our bar tending team.
The ideal candidate has at least five years experience behind the bar and has a true understanding of "Steps Of Service".
I'm not only looking for a bar tender, but for someone who actually loves food and drink. Someone who understands flavor profiles and doesn't need to look on their phone for what a Manhattan is, lol. No offense, I just don't have the time to teach the basics. This job is for a EXPERIENCED bar tender that wants to be appreciated and not ran ragged because they are surrounded by a bunch of inexperienced coworkers who call out all the time and make everyones life harder! Exhale...
This job is for a customer service professional who has that incredible ability to connect with people in a way that is hard to describe, but those of us who have done this long enough know what I'm talking about. It's a feeling after a service has gone so amazing, that the customer is almost floating out, you know what I mean? I guess long story short, this job is for someone who knows what I mean.
I'm over the current acceptable state of hospitality being minimized to mindlessly punching in food and drink orders! When did that happen? When did bar tenders literally become anyone? It used to be a badge of honor, because it was HARD TO DO! Now they've watered down our beautiful trade to nothing more than order takers.
WELL NOT HERE!! The bar tender knows your name, and knows to grab you that good bourbon on really great or really hard days, and knows the difference between the two. We are not the weavers of dreams, but we ARE the weavers of memories. We become a piece of peoples lives, and it it not only our responsibility but an honor to take that seriously.
All in all, I'm looking for someone that has done this for a while, and still loves doing it :)
It you make a killer simple syrup, if you know the difference between a whisky sour, a REAL whisky sour and a New York Sour, if you are friendly, hard working and outgoing, then......... THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU!
Send me your resume and let's talk about some DRANKS.
Have a wonderful day and I look forward to meeting you!
