Specific Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing key customer relationships within an assigned territory for thermal heat exchanger products and solutions. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting customers across diverse industries. The role also includes working closely with the independent sales representative network within the region. In doing so, perform quote follow-ups to secure orders and determine sales product training needs and coordinate the same. This position comes with a base salary and a structured bonus program.
Essential Duties:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target industries
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale follow-up
- Expand market presence by promoting heat exchanger products, services, and engineered solutions
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and planed visits
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Manufacturer’s Reps, OEMs, engineering firms, contractors, and end users
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the region
- Understand customer needs and recommend customized thermal solutions
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and plant visits
Technical Sales Support
- Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions
- Interpret customer specifications and match them with appropriate heat exchanger designs
- Provide product knowledge and technical guidance to customers and internal teams
- Support quoting, pricing, and contract negotiations
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and new applications
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and territory updates to leadership
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer service teams
- Support distribution partners, representatives, and channel development
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer training program
Work Experience:
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal system applications
- Experience with products such as prime surface, welded, shell & tube, plate, air-cooled, or finned heat exchangers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process data
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in heat exchangers, thermal systems, or industrial equipment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
