A well-established general contractor in Braintree is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and dependable HR /Office Manager to take on a key administrative and human resources role within the company.
This is a hands-on, standalone position combining HR management, office administration, insurance coordination, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the day-to-day operations of an office while independently handling a broad range of responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of HR and office management experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain accurate employee records.
- Coordinate employee benefits and HR-related matters.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day employee questions and HR needs.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and employee communications.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
Office Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the company office.
- Coordinate office vendors, supplies, and administrative needs.
- Manage company records, correspondence, and documentation.
- Support the CEO, President, and management team with day-to-day administrative needs.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Insurance and Contracts
- Manage company insurance matters and coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers.
- Prepare and manage owner contracts and related documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR and office management experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HH2 and payroll systems.
- Construction industry expereince preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
