Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures.
- Room patients, perform clinical intake, and record medical history.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as ICD coding for diagnoses, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards in an office setting.
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical environments such as OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine office settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical documentation practices.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications like sonography and ultrasound experience are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
