Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Driver & Product Handler (Non-CDL) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and handling of materials, supporting our operational needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, adhering to traffic regulations, and utilizing mobile devices to coordinate tasks effectively. As a lead, you will also oversee other team members, ensuring safety and productivity standards are maintained throughout daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products or materials within designated areas.
- Drive company vehicles without a Commercial Driver’s License (Non-CDL), following all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
- Use mobile devices to communicate with team members, receive instructions, and update job status in real-time.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety protocols to prevent accidents or violations during transit.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage or loss.
- Lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred.
- Proven ability to drive non-commercial vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws.
- Experience using mobile devices for communication and task management is advantageous.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership experience or the ability to supervise team members is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
