- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods.
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare professionals.
- Engage residents in social activities and community outings, providing personal transportation assistance when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with regulatory standards like HIPAA, including patient monitoring logs and incident reports.
