- Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
• Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
• Observe safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
• Signals concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete
• Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms
• Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel
• Molds expansion joints and edges
• Sprinkles colored stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
• Operate a variety of equipment including trucks, backhoes, air compressors, hydro hammers, jackhammers, pumps, loaders, concrete saws and mixers, hammer drills, generators and hand tools, and equipment
• Directs subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms
• Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces
