seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to support its expanding roofing division.
This is not a sales position. We are looking for a detail oriented professional who enjoys the technical side of roofing, performing accurate takeoffs, estimating labor and material costs, procuring materials, and helping ensure projects are properly planned before construction begins.

Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare complete and accurate material takeoffs for commercial roofing projects.
- Develop labor, equipment, and material cost estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare detailed project budgets and estimate summaries.
- Order roofing materials after project award.
- Verify vendor quotations, order acknowledgements, quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate material deliveries with project managers and field personnel.
- Assist with pricing change orders and additional work.
- Maintain current labor and material pricing databases.
- Work with project management to support successful project execution.
- Help identify and develop relationships with qualified commercial roofing installation crews.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
- Experience estimating one or more of the following:
- EPDM
- TPO
- PVC
- Modified Bitumen
- Standing Seam Metal Roofing
- Roof Coatings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing materials and installation methods.
- Experience preparing material takeoffs and labor estimates.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with estimating and takeoff software is preferred.
- Federal construction experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
- Must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation and obtain access to U.S. military installations and other federal facilities.
- Ability to travel to project sites, pre-bid meetings, and supplier visits.
