Overview
Rainbow Restoration of NE Indianapolis is hiring a Lead Restoration Technician. This is not an entry-level role. You'll run water and fire mitigation jobs from day one: leading a technician, managing the site, working directly with homeowners, and owning the quality of the work. If you've been a restoration tech waiting for a shop to hand you real responsibility, this is it.
What You'll Do
- Lead water and fire mitigation jobs from arrival through completion
- Perform inspections, moisture mapping, and job scoping
- Set drying plans, place equipment, and monitor daily progress to dry standards
- Document everything: photos, readings, notes, and daily updates in our job management apps
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with homeowners during a stressful time
- Direct and mentor a technician on your crew
- Keep your van stocked, your equipment maintained, and your job sites clean and safe
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on restoration or mitigation experience (this is the one requirement we won't bend on)
- IICRC WRT certification required. WRT and ASD together preferred
- Leadership mindset: you take ownership of the job, the crew, and the outcome
- Strong communication with customers and teammates
- Comfortable with technology and mobile apps for documentation
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in crawl spaces, attics, and basements
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
What You Get
- $22 to $26 per hour based on experience and certifications
- Company-paid certifications and continued training
- Company uniform provided
- Earned time off

- We like to have fun in the process
