What You'll Do:
- Provide specialized care to cardiac ICU patients, including IV starts, telemonitoring, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheter care, conscious sedation, balloon pump management, and PA line monitoring
- Float between units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:1 to 2:1
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Epic
- Assist in emergency procedures and respond to urgent needs within the ICU
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license or applicable state license with ability to practice in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with cardiac ICU preferred
- Proficiency in IV start, telemonitoring, ventilator management, and use of Epic electronic health records
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
