Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active South Carolina SLP license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but strong CFYs and experienced clinicians both welcome
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to identify needs and develop IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy individually and in groups, adapting sessions to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and developmental progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for assessments, progress, and services
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to planning, and advocate for students’ support needs
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques and materials to maximize student engagement
