Service Advisor – Diesel & Gas Automotive Repair

We are a family-owned and operated diesel and gas automotive repair facility located in Thomasville, Georgia. For more than 30 years, we have built our reputation on quality repairs, exceptional customer service, honesty, and taking care of our customers.
We are currently seeking a motivated, professional, customer-focused Service Advisor with strong leadership skills to join our team.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has a great personality, exceptional customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and natural leadership qualities.
This position is much more than answering phones and writing estimates. Our Service Advisor is a key part of keeping our entire operation running efficiently. You will serve as the primary connection between our customers, technicians, and management, helping ensure everyone is communicating and every job continues moving forward.
We need someone who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, solving problems, holding themselves accountable, and helping lead the team toward a common goal.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing exceptional customer service from start to finish
Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
Working closely with both our diesel and gas technicians
Helping lead and coordinate the daily workflow of the shop
Keeping technicians informed and ensuring jobs continue moving forward
Reviewing technician findings and clearly explaining recommended repairs to customers
Preparing and presenting repair estimates
Obtaining customer authorization for repairs
Following up promptly with customers
Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
Identifying delays or problems and taking initiative to help resolve them
Helping maintain organization, accountability, and communication between the front and back of the shop
Building long-term relationships with customers
Helping ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
Leading by example and contributing to a positive, productive team environment
Leadership Is Important
We are looking for someone who can lead, not just follow.
The right person should be able to take control of situations when necessary, communicate expectations clearly, stay organized under pressure, and help keep both customers and technicians on the same page.
You must be willing to take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through on what needs to be done without constantly being reminded.
We value someone who sees a problem and works toward a solution rather than waiting for someone else to handle it.
Compensation & Earning Potential
This is a performance/commission-based position with no ceiling on your earning potential.
Your earning potential is directly connected to your performance, customer service, communication, leadership, and ability to help keep the shop productive and profitable.
