PLEASE NOTE: This position is through the AmeriCorps Vista Program.
The AmeriCorps VISTA member will help Tucson Girls Chorus (TGC) build capacity within marketing efforts to share mission driven impact, creating greater efficiency within the organization to reach and serve more girls. TGC fosters long-term economic mobility by equipping youth from all socioeconomic backgrounds with the confidence, discipline, and social capital necessary to become future community leaders. As a first-year VISTA, the member will develop and implement a marketing plan, create systems for consistent content development, and enhance Tucson Girls Chorus mission through story telling, strengthening the organization’s visibility within the community.
The VISTA will work to enhance various marketing, communications, and outreach-related systems for Tucson Girls Chorus. They will do so through the following activities: The VISTA member will develop a marketing plan. This plan will outline ways in which TGC can reach and serve more girls in the community and will enhance the Tucson Girls Chorus mission through story telling, strengthening the organization’s visibility within the community. The VISTA will create systems for consistent content development, including a content release calendar, content/footage library, and graphic design templates. The VISTA will create partnerships to enhance TGC's visibility in the community. this will include designing the template for an annual report, developing materials for sponsorships, researching SEO and Good Ads best practices, and developing a comprehensive media contact list.

Living stipend: $24,962.35 total, paid out $957.46 biweekly through entire service term; paid by federal government
End of Year benefit: The member chooses between a scholarship that can be used at any Title IV institution ($7,395) OR a direct deposit cash stipend ($1,800), received upon completion of service term
Housing Stipend: Benefit unique to AZ Serve, $200/month paid directly to a landlord
Relocation Allowance: only for individuals relocating more than 50 miles for service; equals $750 + 40¢ per mile based on zip code
Pay: $24,962.35 per year
