Pacific Northern Drilling
Pacific Northern Drilling is looking for skilled and safety-driven Directional Drill Operators and Locators to join our HDD team. You’ll play a key role in underground utility construction projects by operating and/or locating drilling equipment with precision and safety.
Responsibilities

Operate HDD equipment (Vermeer/Ditch Witch) for underground utility installation.

Accurately perform utility locating, bore tracking, and drill head guidance.

Read and interpret utility maps, plans, and job specifications.

Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.

Work closely with crew to ensure accuracy, safety, and timely project completion.

Adhere to all company, client, and OSHA safety standards.
Requirements
-
2+ years of HDD drilling and/or locating experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of underground utility installation and construction safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret utility locates and bore plans.

Class A CDL strongly preferred.

Willingness to travel as needed.
