Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant dining and nightlife environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling, as well as experience with various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor, garnishes, and glassware.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha and Micros.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; assist with ordering when necessary.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or catering services to ensure seamless service.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to provide prompt service without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and ensuring accurate transactions.
- Experience in fine dining establishments or banquet services is a plus.
