As a Security Officer Checkpoint Screening in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or materials, and support site operations through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. This role offers the chance to help reduce security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Screen people, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Document screening results, incidents, and/or daily activity in required logs, reports, and communication systems with attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
