Aluminum TIG Welder
The BlueEarth Marine Group, maker of RH Aluminum, Fish-Rite and UltraSport Boats is now accepting applications for an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder to join its innovative and dynamic team in Grants Pass, Oregon.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read/interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding layout and fabrication requirements
- Connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions
- Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
- Repair broken or cracked parts and fills holes
- Position and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixtures
- Select torch, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material
- Chip off excess weld, slag and spatter, and clean/de-greases parts
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous TIG welding experience
- Able to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents
- Able to use weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances
- Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals
- Able to read a tape measure

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
