Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice looking for a dependable, friendly team member to join our growing team. We are hiring for two areas of our hospital: Front Desk Care Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant/RVT.
Front Desk Care Coordinator
Our Front Desk Care Coordinator is an important part of the client and patient experience. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and providing excellent customer service
- Answering phones and responding to client questions
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Checking patients in and out
- Processing payments and assisting with account questions
- Communicating medication, follow-up, and treatment information
- Coordinating closely with the veterinary team
- Maintaining accurate patient and client records
Ideal candidate: Previous veterinary, medical, or customer service experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, comfortable multitasking, and enjoys working with both clients and a team.
Veterinary Assistant / RVT
Our clinical team assists with daily patient care and procedures, including:
- Patient handling, restraint, and nursing care
- Assisting with appointments and treatments
- Surgery and anesthesia support
- Dental procedures and dental radiographs
- Laboratory testing and sample preparation
- Radiology
- Medication preparation and client education
- Maintaining a clean, organized hospital
Ideal candidate: Experienced Veterinary Assistants and Registered Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply. At least one year of veterinary experience is preferred. We value teamwork, attention to detail, dependability, compassion, and a willingness to continue learning.
