Job Summary
Now hiring Low Voltage Electronics Technicians in Salisbury, NC, and surrounding areas including Spencer, China Grove, Kannapolis, Concord, Lexington, Mocksville, Statesville, and Davidson
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure security cameras (CCTV/IP camera systems).
- Assist with Head End installation, including racks, network equipment, and control panels.
- Pull, route, and secure CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, and other low-voltage cabling.
- Terminate and label cables in accordance with project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
- Mount cameras, devices, conduit, and related hardware.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality control inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following OSHA safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, electricians, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Electronics Technician.
- Experience installing CCTV/security camera systems.
- Experience assisting with Head End installations.
- Knowledge of structured cabling, cable termination, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and low-voltage schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or lifts.
- Hands-on experience with Come Tec specialized systems and equipment is preferred.
