Daydream Cafe is hiring! We are looking for two part-time baristas or one full-time barista to join our team.
Previous barista experience is required for this position.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently work behind an espresso bar, provide excellent customer service, and thrive in a busy café environment. The right person is friendly, dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in both the drinks they make and the experience they give our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, cold brew, specialty beverages, smoothies, and other café drinks
- Provide friendly, efficient, and genuine customer service
- Take orders and accurately operate the POS system
- Maintain speed and drink quality during busy periods
- Follow Daydream recipes and presentation standards
- Keep the bar and café clean, stocked, and organized
- Complete opening, closing, prep, restocking, and cleaning duties
- Work independently and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction
- Help create a welcoming environment for our customers and regulars
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista experience – REQUIRED
- Proven customer service experience – REQUIRED
- Experience preparing espresso-based beverages
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to multitask and stay composed during a rush
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to clean, stock, prep, and help wherever needed
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Position
Full-time or Part-time
We are flexible and would consider either one strong full-time candidate or two part-time candidates, depending on experience and availability.
