Job Summary
Hopscotch is looking for hospitality and retail professionals who are concentrated on
growing sales, who love to engage with people, are passionate about all aspects of a
retail store, and enjoy being a part of a team that provides a great guest experience. You
must be reliable, have no fear of striking up conversation, familiar with all items in our
shop, and be able to manage inventory and scheduling. Hopscotch is looking for
someone with previous retail experience who is well versed in all aspects of sales by
guaranteeing that inventory is clean and organized, maintaining product parts and
reaching sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
● Represent the Hopscotch brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
● Work alongside the General Manager to interview and hire new retail staff.
● Oversee the training schedule and training execution of all retail associates.
● Work alongside the General Manager to create weekly schedules for the retail department.
● Work with the General Manager to drive KPI reports across the brand.
● Drive 5 star online reviews through guest engagement and encouragement.
● Manage inventory on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, reporting to the General Manager each week to ensure proper replenishment of the store.
● Manage and follow all retail merchandise shipment processing guidelines and report to the General Manager any discrepancies of shipments.
● Engage with guests as they are shopping through the HopShop by using key talking points to promote sales and average spend per guest.
● Follow inventory, stocking and merchandising display guidelines in order to meet our branding standards.
● Take initiative in completing tasks provided by the Leadership team while also anticipating the needs of the shop.
● Provide store and departmental insight related to the customer experience and communicate to the General Manager at weekly leadership meetings.
● Is familiar with all products that are offered in the Hopshop in order to utilize key talking points when engaging with the guests.
● Work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team.

● Flexible and open scheduling availability with the specific ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required.

● Ability to work as part of a professional on a team - Excellent verbal communication.
● Creative and ambitious personality who helps drive sales within the Hopshop, along with relaying new ideas to the General and Retail Managers.
● High energy, self-managing, and self-starter personality.
● Strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast paced, out-of-the-box environment.
● You are willing to stand for long periods of time in spaces that are of varying size and light.
**Ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule and must be available to work weekends.**
