GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Periodically employee is required to walk throughout the Mill to various designated sample collection points and collect samples to be tested in the Technical Department. Employee is responsible for completing various cleaning tasks in and around the Technical Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- On a rotational timed schedule, collect various cane juice, molasses, mill mud, raw sugar, bagasse and other various samples to be tested by Laboratory personnel.
- Additionally, clean sample containers/ receptacles.

Assist in maintaining the inventory of reagents, chemicals, and supplies needed for analyses.

Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED with basic skill set levels.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance is required during your scheduled shift, which will include weekends and holidays.

Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, dusty, and foggy working conditions depending on weather.

Prolonged periods of standing, and capable of climbing stairs numerous times during the shift.

Must be able to work in all positions (overhead, kneeling, reaching, crawling & working in small workspaces) & be able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
