Long-Term After-School Nanny Needed – Memorial Area (77079)
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and responsible long-term after-school nanny for our three kids: 9-year-old boy/girl twins in 4th grade and a 6-year-old girl in kindergarten. We would love to find someone who can commit for at least the full school year, and ideally longer!
Location: Memorial/Wilcrest area (77079)
Schedule
- Starting September 28th (or sooner if available)
- Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:00–6:00 PM
- 6 guaranteed hours/week, with the opportunity for additional hours if desired
Responsibilities include:
- Picking kids up from school or meeting them at the bus stop
- Occasionally driving them to nearby activities
- Helping with 4th-grade homework as needed (they are pretty self-sufficient!)
- Tidying common spaces
- Occasional light meal prep and/or prepping packed lunches for the next day
Requirements:
- Previous childcare experience and references from families
- Reliable vehicle that can accommodate 3 booster seats
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Dependable and able to commit consistently for the school year
Big plus: Availability for full days (approximately 8 AM–6 PM) on Mondays/Wednesdays during school breaks and/or summer. This could be a great fit for a college student whose schedule allows for more hours during school breaks.
Compensation: $30–35/hour depending on experience and agreed-upon responsibilities
