Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Experienced Outside Sales professional to join our team specializing in a UL 508A Panel Shop. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our business footprint, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored electrical panel solutions to industrial and commercial clients. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify new business opportunities within the UL 508A Panel Shop industry, focusing on B2B sales channels.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting for new accounts through warm calling, networking, and industry events.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments with clients to recommend customized electrical panel solutions that meet their technical specifications and compliance standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage account information, and analyze market trends for continuous improvement.
- Lead technical presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on product capabilities, benefits, and value propositions.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and project delivery.
- Provide ongoing account management support, including follow-up communications, troubleshooting, and upselling opportunities.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales roles within the electrical manufacturing or industrial automation sectors, particularly with UL 508A Panel Shop services or similar technical products.
- Strong background in B2B sales, business development, and account management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales environments that require clear communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales data.
- Excellent communication skills combined with active listening abilities to build rapport with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Analysis skills necessary for market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
- Ability to conduct warm calling campaigns confidently while maintaining a professional and energetic approach.
