Special Education Certified Teacher
The Icahn Charter Schools is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teachers to work with IEP driven students, and students at risk.
Requirements include:
· Assessing children’s skills and learning requirements
· Designing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
· Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students’ progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Must have NYS Certification in Students With Disabilities or Special Education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
