We provide standard magnetic cores and accessories as an authorized distributor of several product lines, and through our manufacturing services department, we machine custom products to meet customer specifications.
Our Machine Operators are responsible for operating various pieces of machine shop equipment used to manufacture magnetic products. Operators may perform setups and adjustments on specific machines.
** Note: Candidates will be required to complete a simple math assessment skill test as part of the interview process. **
Duties:
- Operates various surface grinding equipment to machine magnetic materials.
- Inspects first and finished product to ensure specifications for a particular operation are met using various pieces of measuring equipment including bridges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Reads and understands simple manufacturing instructions (MI’s) with direction from other personnel.
- Notify group leader and/or supervisor of problems with equipment and/or product.
- Follow all safety, quality and departmental procedures.
- May install grinding wheel on spindle.
- May be required to pack and stamp or otherwise mark finished goods.
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to meet organizational and customer objectives and business conditions.
Qualifications and Education:
- General understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to use small hand tools.
- Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometer and calipers.
- Good working knowledge of basic math.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous machining experience is preferred
- US citizen due to ITAR regulations.
- Experience with CNC machining is a plus!

You’ll be with us:
- Full-time
- Monday through Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm, Friday OT as needed
