Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paint Shop Technician to join our dynamic automotive repair team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray guns, including conventional and airless paint spraying equipment, to apply primers, paints, and coatings with precision
- Use grinders, power tools, and hand tools to shape, smooth, and refine surfaces for a flawless finish
- Conduct auto restoration tasks including detailing, buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to enhance vehicle appearance
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols by using respiratory protection and proper handling of paints and chemicals
Qualifications
- Proficiency with sanders, buffing equipment, and spray guns
- Familiarity with automotive surface preparation methods such as masking, sanding, and priming
- Experience with auto restoration projects and automotive buffing for high-quality finishes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of respiratory protection standards and safe handling of paints and chemicals is required
