Location: Columbia, MO (Annual position - This is NOT seasonal!)
Job Description
· Irrigation management
· Cares for established lawns and beds by mulching, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls
· Possesses general knowledge and experience in applying herbicide and pesticide chemicals to grounds, trees, bushes, and shrubs to control weeds and plant diseases.
· Assist with gathering and removing litter from grounds.
· Experience in operating appropriate hand and power tools including but not limited to shovels, rakes, saws, gas blowers, trimmers, and knowledge in shaping hedges to desired design.
· Addresses questions or concerns with the clients if approached. Communicates customer’s questions immediately with the supervisor.
· Cleans, maintains, and repairs tools and equipment as necessary.
· Communicates and works in conjunction with Supervisor by completing and submitting job site reports on property and equipment.
· Adheres to company’s employee manual & safety procedures as required from all employees. Demonstrates proper use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment and practices of the crew.
· Travels to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior irrigation experience preferred
