Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with appropriate math endorsement of EX
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of secondary mathematics content, instructional strategies, and curriculum
- Demonstrate ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of student
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction aligned with district curriculum and Michigan Academic Standards
- Create lesson plans that emphasize conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving
- Establish clear learning targets and success criteria for each lesson
