Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training on customer service, POS systems, inventory management, and sales techniques
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and loss prevention measures
- Drive sales growth through effective team management, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies
- Ensure high standards of customer service by coaching staff on communication skills, phone etiquette, and problem resolution
- Monitor store financials including budgeting, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping accuracy, and sales reporting
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting processes
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems, retail math, cashiering procedures, and inventory management tools
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training & development and team motivation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and marketing initiatives
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and sales management practices
- Experience in shift management, cash handling protocols, budgeting processes, and store operations oversight
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with a professional phone etiquette to foster positive customer interactions
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus
