Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, networking, and community events to generate new business opportunities
- Negotiate insurance policies and benefits packages that meet client needs while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized communication and attentive service
- Conduct retail sales of various insurance products including health, life, property, and casualty coverage
- Manage sales administration tasks such as CRM system entry, policy documentation, and client records updates
- Analyze client data to recommend suitable insurance solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Provide ongoing customer support by answering inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with benefits administration
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Knowledge of insurance products such as health, life, property casualty insurance, and related regulations (including HIPAA compliance)
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools for sales tracking and documentation
- Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards and benefits administration processes
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to obtain P&C insurance license within 30 days
