New Classical Art School is hiring an Early Childhood Music Instructor / Orff Music Teacher
New Classical Art School is a vibrant and growing academy offering both music and art education. We aim to create a joyful, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students can explore music, creativity, movement, and self-expression.
Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic, patient, and creative Early Childhood Music Instructor who enjoys working with young beginners, especially children ages 3–5. This position may include both group early childhood music classes and one-on-one beginner lessons, depending on student needs and scheduling.
Many children at this age may not yet be ready for traditional instrument lessons, so we are looking for a teacher who can introduce music through movement, rhythm, singing, listening, games, and hands-on activities. For students who are ready for individual instruction, the teacher should also be able to provide gentle, age-appropriate one-on-one lessons that build basic musical awareness, listening skills, coordination, and confidence.
The ideal candidate has experience with early childhood music education, Orff, Kodály, Dalcroze, Music Together, Kindermusik, or similar approaches. This teacher should be able to create a warm and engaging classroom where young children can develop musical awareness, coordination, listening skills, social-emotional skills, and confidence.
Early childhood is a precious window of development, and we believe music can support children’s growth in many areas, including cognitive development, language, motor skills, creativity, focus, and social interaction. We are looking for an instructor who understands the importance of this stage and can make music learning joyful, age-appropriate, and meaningful.
