Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, teachers, staff, and families
- Enthusiasm for helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct intervention in both individual and group settings
- Accurately collect data and maintain thorough documentation on student progress
- Collaborate with team members to support IEP goals and ensure holistic student care
- Assist with screenings, evaluations, and preparation of therapy materials as needed
