Extra Hands Services, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our Specialty Services Division Apprenticeship Program. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and interested in developing specialized cleaning and facility maintenance skills.
As an Apprentice Special Services Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians, receive hands-on training, and gain the knowledge needed to perform advanced cleaning services for commercial facilities.
No specialty cleaning experience is required-we will train the right candidate.
As part of our apprenticeship program, you will receive training in:

Floor care techniques including strip and wax, scrub and recoat, and burnishing

Carpet extraction and deep carpet cleaning

Window cleaning
-
High dusting and detailed cleaning
-
Post-construction cleanup
-
Deep restroom restoration
-
Pressure washing (where applicable)

Proper use and maintenance of specialty cleaning equipment

Safety procedures and industry best practices

Customer service and quality control standards

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience helpful but not required

Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible schedules

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout shifts

Strong willingness to learn and accept coaching

Valid driver's license preferred
