We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Back Waiter and Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen staff by efficiently delivering prepared dishes to tables while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables quickly to optimize table turnover
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with food safety regulations
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions when needed
- Provide excellent guest relations through attentive service, clear communication, and friendly interactions
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Manage time effectively during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience with OpenTable or upselling techniques is a plus
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
