We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hostess, Busser, and Food Runner. You will support the smooth operation of the restaurant by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food service, and providing exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to ensure timely seating.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring overall restaurant sanitation.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering food orders promptly as a Food Runner.
- Handle food safely during transportation from kitchen to table, practicing proper manual handling and safe lifting techniques for heavy trays or dishes.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks when needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate guest service and address any special requests or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or banquet settings with strong guest service skills.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a host/hostess, busser, or food runner is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
