This is not a traditional Director of Nursing role.
We're looking for a strategic clinical leader who enjoys building, scaling, and transforming operations. You'll have the opportunity to establish best practices, develop exceptional teams, influence organizational strategy, and serve as the clinical leader for a rapidly growing market.
You'll partner closely with operational leadership while maintaining ownership of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes.
- Serve as the senior clinical leader for the Middle Tennessee market
- Oversee all aspects of patient care delivery, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure exceptional patient outcomes and family experiences
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic growth initiatives
- Recruit, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and nursing staff
- Create scalable clinical workflows, processes, and best practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Lead performance management, staff development, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements
- Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management efforts
- Oversee clinical audits and regulatory readiness activities
- Champion evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care delivery
- Partner with operations, finance, compliance, and executive leadership teams
- Balance rapid growth objectives with exceptional clinical standards
- Serve as the clinical authority and advocate within organizational decision-making
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- 5+ years of clinical leadership experience
- 2+ years of recent home health leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, compliance, and quality programs
- Proven success leading, building, or scaling clinical teams and operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and operational management skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Pediatric home health leadership experience
- Experience launching or rapidly growing clinical operations
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong business acumen and cross-functional leadership experience
