HOPEful Beginnings is a fully licensed preschool and childcare center in Grand Forks, ND providing care to children from infants to age 5. Our mission is to provide a developmentally appropriate Christian environment where children are encouraged to let God love them, love Him in return, and love others in Jesus’ name. We are open from 7:00am-6:00pm and are looking for a team-oriented and motivated person to join our preschool team. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
Job Description:
- Understanding and supportive of HOPEful Beginnings' mission statement, focusing on coming alongside families as a team to help strengthen their children physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
- Full and part-time work within a preschool classroom, providing for the basic needs of preschool-age children.
- Instruct and supervise children in social and developmental activities, help change them, and provide one-on-one attention when needed. He or she must help organize the classroom and plan intellectual activities for children, per the lead teacher’s requests.
- Team-oriented person, with a positive attitude and willingness to get along with others in actions and words.
- Understanding of and ability to follow through with ND State Licensing requirements relating to health/safety, discipline, supervision, food/nutrition, etc.
- Shared classroom duties, such as cleaning/sanitizing of classroom and toys, prepping classroom materials, diapering/changing children when needed, etc.
- Completion of state required training within 3 months of hire and additional yearly training, at the cost of the center.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
