Philip J. Boren is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Account Manager (Team Lead) to lead and grow a portfolio of key client accounts across major online retail platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing long-term account strategies, driving revenue growth, managing client relationships at multiple levels, and serving as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Account Manager (Team Lead) will own account performance, lead business planning efforts, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic direction across pricing, content, marketing, assortment optimization, forecasting, inventory management, and retailer relationships. This individual will directly lead and develop Account Managers, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development while ensuring exceptional client execution across their team.

Own the P&L, sales performance, profitability, and overall business strategy for a portfolio of high-value client accounts.

Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans that drive sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.

Serve as the primary strategic advisor to clients, providing data-driven recommendations and proactive business solutions.

Build executive-level relationships with client stakeholders and retail partners.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts and through new client development.

Lead day-to-day management of Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Wayfair, and other e-commerce platforms.

Develop and execute pricing, promotional, assortment, and content strategies to maximize sales performance.

Monitor key business metrics, market trends, competitive activity, and category performance to identify growth opportunities.

Drive retailer negotiations, promotional planning, forecasting, and inventory management initiatives.

Oversee content optimization and digital shelf management to improve conversion and customer engagement.

Lead client business reviews, quarterly planning sessions, and executive presentations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, content, marketing, operations, analytics, and retailer support teams to deliver exceptional client results.

Mentor and support junior account managers and team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team development.

Provide direct leadership for a team of Account Managers and/or Associate Account Managers, coaching and developing employees to achieve client and business objectives.

Provide strategic oversight across assigned client accounts, ensuring account teams are aligned on business objectives, growth strategies, and execution priorities.

Serve as the primary escalation point for client issues, providing strategic guidance and partnering with account teams to resolve complex business challenges.

Guide account teams in prioritizing strategic initiatives, balancing short-term execution with long-term business growth opportunities.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and development planning to support individual growth and team success.

Monitor team workload, allocate resources, and ensure consistent execution of client deliverables, service standards, and operational excellence.

Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Review account performance, business plans, client communications, and strategic recommendations to ensure consistent quality, alignment, and execution across the team.

Coach Account Managers on client engagement, business planning, retailer strategy, and executive presentations to elevate the team's strategic capabilities.

Partner with senior leadership to identify process improvements, establish best practices, and strengthen organizational capabilities.

Analyze sales trends, profitability, inventory levels, and performance metrics to drive strategic decision-making.

5+ years of e-commerce account management experience, preferably within a manufacturer, agency, retailer, or marketplace environment.

5+ years of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central experience required.

2–3 years of direct people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.

Demonstrated success managing large or strategic client accounts and driving revenue growth.

Experience with Walmart.com, Wayfair, Target Plus, Home Depot, Lowe's, Overstock, or other major online marketplaces preferred.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce merchandising, content strategy, and online retail operations.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 plus target incentive compensation.
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive discretionary incentive compensation based on company and individual performance.
