Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive experience in managing diverse construction projects across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure seamless execution of construction activities using project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction management tools.
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial controls utilizing Construction estimating software like HeavyBid to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Oversee construction site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory compliance across all phases of the project.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to develop detailed construction plans, review blueprints, and interpret construction drawings including Civil 3D plans.
- Supervise project teams by managing subcontractors and internal staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on meeting project milestones and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules closely, adjusting timelines as needed while maintaining clear communication on progress and potential risks.
- Ensure proper documentation of contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily site reports to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, project coordination, cost management, and regulatory compliance within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role; excellent time management abilities are essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and managing complex budgets effectively.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality control.
- Civil 3D proficiency is preferred for projects involving civil infrastructure components; familiarity with Primavera P6 is required for scheduling purposes.
