Exciting & Immediate CNC Mill Machinist opportunities!
We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Machinists for multiple openings in high precision fast paced machine shops. The shops are clean and air-conditioned.
CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be setting up and operating CNC Vertical and/or Horizontal Mill machines. Duties will include:
- Select tools and materials for the job.
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Determine how fast or slow work piece is fed into machine.
- Monitor and control speeds and feeds.
- Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
- Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Replace dull cutting tools
- Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
- Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining tasks
- Will make parts for various industries some or all of the following: medical, aerospace, automotive.
- Modify programs and setups in response to problems.
CNC Mill Machinist Skills & Qualifications:
Must have CNC Vertical or Horizontal Mill Machine set up and operation experience including the following:
- Math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
- Mechanical aptitude
- Production-machinery maintenance
- Metalworking and machine tooling
- Application of ISO quality standards
- CNC machine programming is a plus
- Ability to pass drug test and criminal background check
Current openings are primarily 1st shift, but some 2nd shift positions are available. Positions are easily commutable from the western suburbs including: Plymouth, New Hope, Minnetonka, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Ramsey, Anoka, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, etc. We have direct contact with the hiring managers and your consideration will be immediate!
