OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN
Applicants must be: Available and Able to work Monday through Friday, extremely dependable & reliable, organized, articulate, have excellent communication skills, able to learn quickly, able to multi-task, experienced with computers and navigating multiple software programs, willing to learn, pleasant, positive, and able to work well with others and the public, in a fast paced environment.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Intake patient information, review medical histories, etc.
Use of Electronic Health Records
Instructing patients about medications, tests and procedures
Performing vision and diagnostic tests
Assisting with patient procedures
Coordinating patient scheduling
Obtaining medical/insurance authorizations
Performing other associated clinic and office duties
* Experience Preferred but will train on the job. Pay is based on ability and experience.
