The SCM Excellence Associate supports the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Excellence team in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supply chain optimization projects, warehouse efficiency programs, and data analytics activities. This role works closely with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to improve operational performance, increase data visibility, and support the implementation of standardized supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in documenting, analyzing, and improving SCM processes across Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse operations.
· Support the implementation and monitoring of SCM SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Collect, consolidate, and analyze supply chain data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools.
· Support root cause analysis, exception management, and corrective action tracking.
· Participate in process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments.
· Support warehouse optimization and automation projects through data collection, pilot testing, and performance measurement.
· Analyze operational metrics including inventory accuracy, delivery performance, lead times, and warehouse utilization.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams and prepare project documentation, presentations, and status reports.
· Support benchmarking efforts and identify best practices to improve operational performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field required.
· 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations, or related fields.
· Internship, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing environment may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s degree preferred.
· APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Skills:
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
· Experience with Power BI preferred.
· Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
· Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
· Combination of office-based and manufacturing environment work.
· Frequent interaction with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
· Occasional travel to facilities in Mexico.
