James Campbell High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to teach a full course load of 9th Grade Physical Science within our Freshman Success Academy. Utilizing the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), you will guide students through hands-on laboratory experiments and inquiry-based lessons that emphasize real-world applications and critical thinking. As a foundational science course, your instruction will be vital in sparking scientific curiosity and equipping students with the analytical skills they need for upper-level science pathways. Operating within our schools academy model, you will work with other ninth-grade teachers to support the holistic development of our students during their critical transition to high school. You will be responsible for creating a culturally responsive, highly structured classroom environment that fosters both academic resilience and social-emotional growth. By collaborating on cross-curricular initiatives and utilizing data-driven interventions, you will help ensure every freshman builds the confidence and academic foundation necessary for long-term success at Campbell High School and beyond.
