SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time line server/ prep cook for a private boarding school in a private school in Hebron, ME. We are currently seeking a motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Front of House Server with basic food prep abilities.
We seek an individual who enjoys working on a small team and can also work individually. We are looking for a person with a fun personality to engage with our guests. It is fast-paced, on a beautiful campus with a very nice community of students and faculty.
Typical schedule will be Friday- Tuesday 4:00pm- 8pm. We can discuss availability during the interview.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and refresh the AM servery and dining hall throughout the day.
- Serve the student and faculty population during breakfast and lunch hours, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to read and follow a recipe when requested.
- Fill out production and temperature logs as requested.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Occasionally work weekend shifts or assist in catering events, which may add to work hours in a given week.
Qualifications:
- Strong front of house people skills.
- Basic food prep abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Positive interaction with students and the adult community is essential.
