Job Title: Yard/Tarper
Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager
Location: Brooks, OR. Job Type & Shift: Full-Time On-Site Monday – Friday 5:30AM - 4:30PM occasional Saturday
Job Summary: To support Process/Transfer Facility performing various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Daily Yard cleanup.
· Litter pickup.
· To ensure the grounds and immediate areas are kept clean and free of debris.
· Operating Scissor Lift safely throughout the shift.
· Cleaning loaded semi-trailers. This may include climbing onto trailer to adjust loads.
· Operating lot Sweeper
· Landscape/Weed Control.
· Operating Forklift safely as needed.
· To assist customers with unloading activates in a courteous manner.
· Any other duties as assigned.
Safety:
· Immediately report all accidents to operations supervisor and/or operations manager
· Wear and maintain proper safety devices to insure protection from injury or illness.
· Operate the equipment in a manner to ensure safety of the fellow workers.
· Report all unsafe conditions to the operations supervisor.
· Attend all safety meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to receive and follow direction from supervisor
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Forklift certified
· Scissor Lift certified
· Able to work inside/outside in various weather conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:
· Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
